DBS RAPID (Real-time API by DBS) is a digital solution that can be integrated into our corporate customers’ systems or platforms to facilitate banking transactions and services in real-time. The banking services offered via APIs include, but are not limited to, bank account verification, real-time payments & collections, and direct debit authorisation etc. 

What is an API?

API stands for Application Programming Interface. It is an easy way for two different systems to communicate with each other. With DBS RAPID, our customers can seamlessly integrate DBS’ banking services into their systems or platforms for their banking needs. 

How will DBS RAPID help my business?

DBS RAPID provides digital solutions to address your banking needs, reducing the time and cost you spend on manual/paper processes. This allows you to focus on growing your business without having to worry about the complex processes that occur behind the scenes. From our wide range of APIs, you can mix and match multiple APIs to meet your needs. How long does it take to set up DBS RAPID?

It typically takes between four to six weeks from inception to Go-Live to set up DBS RAPID. The time it takes is largely dependent on the readiness of the company to consume the DBS’ APIs. 

What kind of format does DBS RAPID use?

DBS RAPID uses REST API with JSON format & PGP implementation, which is a widely adopted industry standard, making DBS RAPID easy to implement and integrate.
